Eleven districts across Malaysia are set to host hundreds of youth football teams for the start of the 2023 Liga Suparimau season.

Week 1 of 2023 Season A will see matches take place at 14 venues, from Perak to the Klang Valley, Johor, Negeri Sembilan and Sabah. In total 246 teams will play on Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th January. Remaining teams and districts will kick off on Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th February, with Season A running until 11th and 12th March.

What’s new for 2023 Season A?

Following a successful first year of competition in 2022, Liga Suparimau presented by Boost Juice sees a numbers of changes and improvements for 2023.

Among the updates are the introduction of Under 7, Under 9, Under 11 and Under 13 age groups in the Klang Valley as well as the launch of brand new districts later in the year. Leagues will run in all existing districts for Season A.

The 2023 season also brings with it a brand new range of Liga Suparimau clothing and merchandise, available on the Liga Suparimau Shop and at selected match venues throughout the year.
