Liga Suparimau’s competitive divisions are those for age groups from Under 11 and above, compared to leagues for Under 10 and below where results and standings are not recorded.

A total of 236 teams are playing in competitive competitions in 2023 Season A, with 35 divisions split across 10 districts.

In the Klang Valley Girls competitions, four teams are tied at the top of the G14 table after 2 rounds of matches, while KLYS and FCKL have both picked up 6 points from their opening games in the G18 division.

In Kuala Lumpur, bigger gaps have opened between teams after 3 of 4 rounds of games. FC Setia Alam hold a strong position at the top of the Under 12 Lions competition, while TSS Selangor’s impressive goal difference of 27 sees them sit atop the new Under 13 division.

Hala Tokyo currently top the Kuala Lumpur U14 Lions age group with 3 wins from 2, with KDH Lion matching that record in the U16 Lions division.

Moving into Selangor, the Under 12 Lions division sees SMOT FC and Cougar United FC tied at the top with 4 wins from 4. AB Seri Pristana currently sit in first place of the U14 competition while the Under 16 Lions division also sees a stalemate between 2 fellow Liga Suparimau debutants, DSSB FC and Vossa United FC.

In Putrajaya, Putrajaya Tiger are following up a strong 2022 campaign with a superb 5 wins from 5 in the Under 12 competition. Lestari Junior FC Hornet hold top spot in the Putrajaya Under 14 division, with AB Felda and ZH Soccer Star pro currently sharing honours in the U16 age group.

Further south, 2 teams still hold a perfect record in the Negeri Sembilan U12 Lions division, with BKFC leading Fireball FA after 3 and 2 games played respectively. Fireball’s U14 team hold a convincing lead in their  category while BOSS FC sit top of the Under 16 table with 6 points.

After 3 weekends in Johor, it’s Zer09 Academy’s U11 team that holds top place in the Under 12 Lions age group, while NFDP JB and JDT U15 sit top of the Under 14 and Under 16 divisions respectively.

Teams in Sabah’s U12 and U14 competitions have only played 1 or 2 games so far, but the Under 16 division is topped by TABS SAFA Bandaraya with 7 points from their opening 3 matches.

Concluding our mid-season round-up are the 2 northernmost districts for 2023 Season A: Perak and Penang.

Bintang Biru have taken an early lead in the Penang Under 12 competition, with Kenari United topping the Under 16 division.

In Perak, meanwhile, Tambun Eagle A hold on to a perfect record of 3 wins from 3 in the Under 12 category, while Clifford Young Leopard FC – stars of this week’s Boost Juice Photo of the Week – sit top of the U16 age group with 7 points from 3 games.

With 4 more rounds of matches to play in 2023 Season A there’s still plenty of action to unfold before the closing weekend on 11th and 12th March. Make sure you download the Liga Suparimau presented by Boost Juice mobile app to follow along all season long.
